I'm Chris Abraham, and I work from Sexy South Arlington, Virginia. Most posts on this weblog are mine: I talk, Claude writes, and the prompt sits under every post so you can see what I actually said.
What I do
I have used Pine for email since 1993, built websites since 1994, done SEO since 1998, and kept a weblog since 1999. In 2002 I was employee thirteen at New Media Strategies, where I helped build what became online reputation management, and I later worked on Edelman's digital public affairs team in Washington and as team lead for special projects at Reputation.com. I co-founded Abraham Harrison in 2007 and started Gerris Corp in 2012. Today I do technical SEO and AI search work for clients, mostly by the hour; on Upwork I'm Top Rated with a 100% Job Success Score, 127 jobs, and 4,089 hours as of October 2026. Hire me.
What else
I studied American literature at George Washington University, lived in Berlin during the Abraham Harrison years, and in 2012 a Forbes contributor's list of social media influencers put me at number 33. I founded r/slowjogging in 2017, I have made a podcast since 2019, and I serialized a spy novel, Hill Mole, starting in 2005. I have ADHD, aphantasia, and severely deficient autobiographical memory, which is why I build tools that remember for me.
